We rented a house across the street from the Southeast Projects in Minneapolis. It was for sale, and not a hot item, so we lived there relatively undisturbed for months.

We set up a rehearsal space in the basement, and did one 4-track recording there. The band was recorded live with vocals and other stuff added the next day.

We found that the house was haunted, and often after we were done with a song we'd hear strange howling noises around us and hear movement upstairs. We took it as a sign that we were really onto something great.

I really miss playing with these guys.
